Atlantic Kia is seeking an experienced Red Seal Automotive Technician or Apprentice Technician who is self-motivated, highly positive, and passionate about cars to join our KIA store. We are a family-owned, well-established dealership that is part of the Allen Auto Group, situated in Nova Scotia’s gateway community of Amherst. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair and service Customer vehicles in a flat rate shop
• You will evaluate parts for reuse, repair or replacement in accordance with the company and the Manufacturer’s specifications
• You will work closely with our Parts Manager, Service Manager and Service Advisor and effectively communicate with them

Skills and Qualifications:

• Automotive technical experience and asset
• A valid Driver’s and Motor Vehicle Inspection License
• You pride yourself on Fixing it Right the First Time and have a keen interest in training and development
• Must have a working knowledge of safe use of vehicle hoists & tire changer (training provided)
• You are punctual and are safety-conscious
• You are able to work independently but are also a team player

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
